The second meeting of Iran and Belarus consular cooperation was held in Minsk and both parties emphasized on increasing commercial transactions and transportation development between two countries.
Upon reached agreements between deputies of foreign Ministers of two countries, it was agreed that the parties would issue one year visas with 90 days residency for drivers of Transportation Companies without any need of invitation and only with request of Transportation Companies Associations as short as possible.
It is to be noted that, before this agreement, Belarus didn’t issue visas for drivers without official invitation and approval of goods owners which was one of the preventive factors in the trend of developing road transportation relations and trade between two countries.
It is noteworthy to mention that Iran and Belarus are the members of North-South Corridor.
