  The 4th meeting of Iran and Kyrgyzstan consular cooperation was held in Tehran with the aim of developing mutual relations and cooperation. In this meeting, both sides agreed on issuing 6 months visas with 15 days residency for drivers of Transportation Companies in each entering time, maximum during 7 work days. Also, it was agreed that the consular parts of two countries embassies would require receiving invitation from Transportation Companies Associations for identification of under covered drivers and company. According to this report, before this agreement, political delegations of Kyrgyzstan countries issued one month visas with one entering time, which has produced a lot of problems for Iranian transportation companies. In another part of this agreement it was agreed that the parties would recommend the police officials of both sides, for the necessity of vehicles and passengers safety. It is noted that two counties are the members of TRACECA and North-South Transportation Corridor. Also, Kyrgyzstan is the only country that is a member of World Trade Organization (WTO) among Central Asian Countries. |
