with amendment of article number (10) of international road transportation agreement between Islamic Republic of Iran and republic of Turkey, Iranian coaches are authorized to enter and transit to the territory of Turkey without receiving annual permit.
According to this report, 21 st economic joint commission meeting was held in Ankara between Iran and Turkey headed by Manouchehr Mottaki, minister of foreign affairs of Iranian side.
In this meeting the proposals of Iranian side on cancellation of any annual permit for Iranian coaches travel and transit through the territory of Turkey was approved and agreed to finalize this issue in the first meeting of transportation between two countries.
Saeed Abdollahi director general of transit and border terminal department with referring to the results of this meeting remarked: in this meeting also agreed on the passage of public passenger vehicles such as van through the territory of both sides in accordance with bilateral companies.
They also reached an agreement on facilitation and acceleration passage of coaches through the borders of two countries in the peak hour traffic which act especially during the last day of the year in Bazargan and serow borders.
It is to be noted that in this meeting emphasized on achiving goals on relations expansion and increasing commercial exchanges between two countries from 12 billion to 30 billion USD.
